1. Ordering by phone
You can order by phone. Please call 0031(0) 10 426 60 34.

2. How do I search for a title?
At our website you can browse by subject and search by a particular reference. Please type in a word in the 'search'-box or click on a subject you like. A list of books with the word in their title(etc.) will be displayed. Searching by the ISBN number is not possible on our website, If you only have an ISBN number and not an exact title or author. Feel free to contact us at info@dutchartbooks.com

3. What are your shipping charges?
The shipping charges vary. This depends on the weight of the package, the country it has to be send to, the speed of shipping. If you would like to see the shipping charges, please order a book and choose the shipping speed of your choice (priority, normal or economy; it is possible you can't choose between these options if it's not available for your country). You will see the shipping charges. You can always go back, and not order the item.

4. How can I cancel my order?
Please order an item only when your absolutely certain! However it is possible you have ordered the wrong book, please let us know as soon as possible by mail; info@dutchartbooks.com. When a book is in stock we'll send the book immediately. When we already shipped your item, you can send the item back, but we do not refund the shipping charges. Please see the subject "Shipping & Returns" for our terms of Returning.

5. Can I return the goods I have ordered?
Customers may return the goods within 8 days after receivement, and with permission from Dutch Art Books (please mail us at info@dutchartbooks.com) In addition, the Customer shall bear the costs of the return consignment, and only the costs of the book itself shall be returned. However, this shall not apply if the goods delivered were not the ones that were ordered. The Customer shall not be entitled to return books when damaged.

6. What if my item is out of stock?
If your item is out of stock, we will hold your order until stock is delivered to us. Your order will then be immediately sent to you. We will notify you by e-mail when we are unable to supply an item. We will also notify you by email when it takes more than 1 month to send an item. We endeavour to present the most recent, most accurate, and most reliable information on our Web site at all times. However, there may be occasions when some of the information featured on www.dutchartbooks.com may contain incomplete data, typographical errors, or inaccuracies. Any errors are wholly unintentional and we apologize if erroneous information is reflected in merchandise price or item availability, or in any way affects your individual order. But please be aware that we present our content 'as is' and make no claims to its accuracy, either expressed or implied. We reserve the right to amend errors or to update product information at any time without prior notice.

7. How to pay online
The Netherlands: Creditcard or Payment in advance. Euro Currency Countries: Creditcard or Payment in advance using Iban & Bic number.
Rest of the world: Credit card.
We only accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club. We will require payment before we can despatch your order. When you order an item you will be send automatically to the Creditcard information field. Please fill in your creditcard details. For Visa, Mastercard & Amex payments we also need the CSC (Card Security Code). This a 3 digit code at the back of the card for Visa & Mastercard, and a 4 digit code at the front of the card for AMEX. Further please fill in the name and address the creditcard is registered to.
Please note: that we do not accept Paypal or any cheques.

8. Which creditcards do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express.

9. When will my creditcard be debited?
We will debit your creditcard the day we will send the book.

10. When will you send my order? Do you know when it will arrive?
Normally we will send your orders on Tuesday and Thursday. Please note that we use a 3rd party carrier to deliver your orders, and we cannot give an exact delivery date. We would like to inform you we attend the Tefaf fair and the Pan fair, please see the following websites for more information on the dates; www.Tefaf.com and www.pan-amsterdam.nl. Around these dates we send your order as soon as possible. We can't however give you exact data. The shop is closed during the Tefaf Fair and the Pan Amsterdam Fair.

11. What kind of information will I receive via e-mail?
If you subscribe to our mail service you will receive emails including newsletters and new product alerts.

12. Can I unsubscribe from emails?
Yes, you can unsubscribe by sending an email to: info@dutchartbooks.com with the subject: remove from e-mail list

13. Do you also sell gift certificates?
Yes we sell gift certificates. These gift certificates are exchangeable with Dutch Art Books & Interbook International only. To order a gift certificate please click on the gift certificate you want and follow the normal order procedure. We will send the gift certificate to the address you want. There are different gift certificates to choose from; different values (20 - 50 - 100 Euro). Please select the gift certificate of your choice and add it to your shopping cart.

14. I'm looking for a special art book that is sold out, can you find it for me?
We are happy to try to find that one special art book for you! Please fill in the details of the book at the contact us form. When we find the book, we will send you an email Our search-service is free of charges and obligations. When a book has been traced for you, the current market value will define the price. The book-tracing service only applies to antiquarian books, which no longer can be purchased at regular bookstores.

15. What is your commitment to my privacy?
Dutch Art Books has made it its policy to monitor the use of its websites and collect certain personal information. Dutch Art Books will store your e-mail address along with any other information you may provide. When you use the services on the website, we may need to collect further information about you. This information may include, but is not limited to, details such as your name, address and your credit card details.
We may use the information provided to process any transactions undertaken by you and for internal administration and analysis. Personal data shall not be passed on to third parties

16. How do I get to contact Dutch Art Books Schiedam?

Our Opening Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00 - 12.30 & 13.00 - 17.00 West European time. Please call us before visiting, we can check if the book(s) you are interested in is/are in stock.

17. What are our terms of delivery?
All books are in good condition unless otherwise stated.
Minor signatures, annotations and small traces of use are not normally noted.
Prices are net in Euro, subject to changes and exclude postage.
Dispatch: The Netherlands: registered parcel post. - Rest of the world: priority airmail, or economy (surface). Tracing system available for items during shipping.
Cheaper shipping options are for risk of the buyer.
please note: All books are dispatched at the consignee's risk and remain property of Dutch Art Books until full payment has been received.
By ordering, the customer agrees to the aforementioned.
